1)  What is Advanced Font Catalog

Advanced Font Catalog is the easy-to-use tool for Windows 95/98/NT/2000 with Explorer-like interface which allows you catalog all kind of font media - the CD-ROMs, hard drives (including network ones), optical disks, ZIP and JAZ disks and other media with font files.

Features in Advanced Font Catalog include :

· Organize volumes, font files and folders into categories;
· Add comment to each font file, folder and disk;
· Search for font files using file and font name, copyright, style name or your own comments, limiting the search results by category;
· Update volume information with saving already entered comments and categories;
· Import folder descriptions from files like "index", "files.bbs", "descript.ion" etc. (customisable);
· Extract font information, font name, font version and font copyright from font files;
· Generate, print and export (text, table) the reports;
· Delete individual font files and folders from the catalogs;
· ... and more.

Advanced Font Catalog doesn't use any database engines and so very fast.


2)  System requirements

- IBM-compatible personal computer with 486 or higher processor.
- Windows NT 4.0/95/98/2000
- 1 MB of available hard disk space


3)  Installing

To install Advanced Font Catalog, follow these steps :

- Uninstall previous version of Advanced Font Catalog using the uninstaller available through the Start menu.
- Make sure you have at least 1 MB of available disk space
- Install Advanced Font Catalog


4)  Un-install

To uninstall, exit the program and double click on Advanced Font Catalog in Add/Remove Programs dialog (run Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel in Windows Start Menu - Setting).


5)  Distribution

The program is freely distributable unless it is not modified in any way, all files are preserved and you do not distribute your registration license. See VENDOR.TXT
